ONLINE Using Regatta Network During Regattas

Join us to learn about how to use Regatta Network (RN) event site to help make your regatta run smoothly. The seminar will start with how to use during the regatta, and if time allows, and any attendees are interested, we will cover set-up of events later.

Regatta Network has created a number of excellent instructional videos* and tips & tricks in their blog, but this session will show how to use RN in the context of LNYC events.

Topics:

• Event Check-in: Recording payments, changing sail numbers or other competitor information, issuing a refund, what is the best document to print for... meals, merchandise, waivers, scratch sheets and scoring sheets (for RC)
• Scoring: One Design; PHRF ToD, ToT; Pursuit
• Competitor communications: Email and SMS Consoles, Notice Board
• Using the console: Checking Storefront numbers, checking registrations, fleet division

Potential additional topics:

• Event creation
• Adding a banner
• Setting Event Information Options
• Uploading documents: NOR, Amendment to NOR, Sailing Instructions, etc.
• Adding Fees

Note that we may not get through all topics in the allotted time, in which case, additional sessions may be scheduled.
