    Flying Scot Fall 48 Regatta November 6-7

    Register Here: Please join us for our annual Fall 48 regatta. We've made some great renovations to the clubhouse and even added a new patio and firepit that should be perfect for this time of year. We'll have chili on Friday night for the early arrivals. Saturday we'll have baked chicken, lasagna and all the trimmings for dinner. Camping is free on the grounds and there are showers available

    Board Bash Regatta Wrap Up

    This weekend 69 boats competed in light and shifty breezes but all managed to get in many races and end the weekend smiling! Not only was the on the water competition great, but the off the water activities were superb. Between great food, company, and an interesting movie on Celestial Navigation, all who attended were rewarded! Link to Photos:

    Hospice Wrap Up

    Hospice Regatta was a great success. While the wind didn't cooperate on Saturday, money was raised and there was breeze on Sunday. Fleets got in 2-3 races on Sunday and the overall Hospice winner was Tim Porter from the Ultimate 20 fleet. Between the auctions and donations the regatta raised over $40,000 for Hospice, which was over $12,000 more than previous years. Thank you to all who came out and sailed, participated in the auctions,

    Board Bash Regatta

    Welcome to Lake Norman Yacht Clubs 2021 Board Bash Regatta. We are excited to be part of the SAYRA Jr Grand Prix and the Laser D12 series. We're planning for two great days of racing with a Barbecue dinner Saturday night , followed by a screening of the film 'Celestial'. Info here: .     Congrats to Team LNYC for 2nd Place in the SAYRA Club Championship

    Great weekend in Charleston with 8 teams, over 25 sailors, race committee and great racing! Even with the weather issues on Sunday it was a great weekend of Club Championships. Close racing was the name of the game.Patrick Chisum was the event chair and thanks everyone who came out this weekend and for all the clubs for supporting their teams efforts to participate!
