US Sailing/SAYRA - Treez Decker

US Sailing's National Sailing Programs Symposium (NSPS), has been cancelled, due to concerns over Covid-19. Because the SAYRA Annual Meeting was originally scheduled back-to-back with NSPS, the SAYRA Annual (Board of Stewards) Meeting has been rescheduled, and has been changed to a virtual meeting. (SAYRA: South Atlantic Yacht Racing Association, our regional sailing association)

Committee meetings will be held via ZOOM the week of January 17-26, open to all members. Sessions include: Junior Committee, Regional Sailing Association Update, Club Championships (Open & Women's) and PHRF Series Updates, Commodores/Club Leadership Best Practices Roundtable, Race Management Officials Update, and Judges Roundtable. In 2022, SAYRA will be hosting the Area D Semifinals for the Chubb Junior Championships. JUNIOR SAILORS, start planning now if you are interested in competing in the Sears (3-person), Bemis (420), or Smythe (ILCA) ladder events. Stay tuned.
