Thistle Bottoms Up and Carolina District Regatta Winners

Five LNYC Thistles joined 25 other boats for the Bottoms Up/Carolina Districts Regatta on Jordan Lake, NC.  Congratulations to Brad Russell for placing 5th overall and 2nd in Districts. BJ Jones was 11th overall and 4th in Districts. Murphy Olson was awarded Top Junior Skipper.  Mike Minett and Mark Gise rounded out the five boats. Mac DeTuro and Kathleen Hale were crewing for other sailors.B
