Inaugural LNYC Winter Distance Race Series

The inaugural LNYC Winter Distance Race Series finished up on Saturday, February 27th with a good turnout of 16 boats. Even with the weather on a bit of the cold and gray side and the wind playing hide and seek, the day turned out to be an interesting day of racing. The spinnaker boats sailed a 9.5 nm race and the non-spinnaker boats sailed a 4.7 nm course.
