2023 Hewson Club Championship

The Club Championship for the Hewson Trophy event was held this past Sunday, October 29th.  For those that don't know this event is an annual event where each fleet sends a representative to compete for the title.  This year six teams raced on V15s.  The competitors completed six races with Steve Shaw and crew Indie Olson winning the title and earning both his name on the Hewson trophy and the opportunity to represent Lake Norman Yacht Club at next year's SAYRA Club Championship, which will be held in U20s at LNYC.  Other competitors included David Manley / Maggie Gross, Scott Olson / Dana Olson, Mike Minett / Pete Lalli, Tim Ponter / Karly Ponter, and Jacob Terrell / Paul Doucette.
